National Walk to School Day is the first Wednesday in October. On this day, we are joined by officers of the Medina Police Department, and we all walk to school together! We typically meet at Medina Park (next to the playground), then walk south through the park and along 80th Ave until we reach the school.
School will not be in-person on this year's Walk to School Day: October 2, 2020. Runners Club will release a special running map that includes our typical walk to school through Medina Park.
Come shop at our three-day pop-up Scholastic Book Store, set up in the library of Medina Elementary School. All funds raised during the Book Fair go to support the school library. The Book Fair is open before school, during recess, and after school on Tuesday through Thursday of Book Fair week, as well as for Family Night on Wednesday evening.
This year's Book Fair will be virtual. Stay tuned for details.
At the end of the school year, students enjoy an afternoon of fun outdoor games and activities organized by parent volunteers.
